This yin yoga teacher training will provide you with a solid foundation of the theory and methodology of both practising and teaching yin yoga. You will learn how yin yoga works along the body’s meridian channels and how yin yoga affects fascia and connective tissue at a bio-mechanical level. You will also explore, experientially, how yin yoga works on deep levels to still the mind and balance the emotions and the nervous system. You will be guided through 20 key yin yoga poses, the sequencing and variations needed to suit your students’ needs. You will have the opportunity for practical teaching experience to develop your competence and confidence in sharing yin yoga with others. This yin yoga teacher training is open to all yoga teachers and yin yoga enthusiasts; no previous teaching experience is necessary. By completing this training, you may register as a qualified Yin Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance International Registry, provided you have completed a recognised Diploma of Yoga Teaching. If you are not already qualified as a yoga teacher, you may still complete this training, however, in completing this training, you are not qualified to teach yoga to adults unless you have completed a minimum 200 hours Diploma of Yoga Teaching such as AYA’s.
